Jim has been involved in music for over 30 years. He started his musical career singing in a professional boys choir called The Singing Boys of Long Island. At age 10 he was singing over 50 shows a year. The shows included the lighting of the tree in Rockerfeller Center at Christmas time, St. Patricks Cathedral in Manhattan singing a latin mass, a trip to England to sing for the Queen in Westminster Abbey, a trip to Italy to sing for the pope in Vatican City, as well as countless other shows. They also recorded an album in that time. He graduated from the choir at 18 and took up the drums. By age 25 he was in a rock band called Dirty Hands playing numerous shows including CBGB's and going to school for audio recording at ARTI. There was much hype about the band in the early 90's with a record deal in the works when their manager passed away. The band dissolved and Jim started playing drums for a band called Virus.Kom. They became the openning act for Public Enemy on their 1999 American tour. Touring the west coast into Canada. In 2004 Jim decided to return to singing and joined the band 231 as the vocalist and frontman. They spent a year in the studio rehearsing to form a very professional, mature sounding band with a 70's guitar rock sound. His music career has a wide spread taste in all aspects of the music industry. He has done the PR work for all 3 bands while being employed by the USPS fpr 20 years.
