      231 is a band made up of 4 veterans to the music industry. The group has many years of experience with writing, performing, recording, touring and video. All the original songs were written by the band members during their careers. The band formed when Jim and Bruce joined Chuck and Paul and spent a year in the studio rehearsing to put together a killer set. Now the band is performing at a professional level impressing fans and club owners along the way. In 2006 they made it to the semi-finals of the Good Times Magazine music festival turning out more than 100 fans for their 2 shows during the event. In 2007 they were chosen to be on Illumina Records compilation CD NYC Rockers for Life Vol. II. Just listen to their songs and read their bios and you can tell these guys know how to make good music and perform great shows to the appreciation of all music fans young and old. Their professional manner on and off the stage speaks for itself.
